Time
Time? What's that? We've all heard about it. We've all even sometimes gotten a little of it to spare, on occasion. But, finding time can be a bit difficult to obtain/catch. It can be like a rabbitt that flits off, somewhere, fast, out of sight, leaving us with a feeling of, "Where did it go?" And as human beings and as writers, I am sure some of us can relate to this, a bit. Finding the time to write... hmmm. Where and how to find the time to write, between family, life, unexpected situations that happen, and, in some cases, other jobs or school. Well, I've noticed that sometimes when we simply cannot find time, we have to make time out of our busy schedules and life's situations to do so. I am sitting here, now, tired as heck, but not sleeping just to get writing done, doing so while tired cus otherwise, I'd have no time in which do to so between my one brother having lived with me for over a week till he could find another temporary place to live (he's temporarily homeless), between helping him in raising his toddler son, this month, in doctor appointments, my physical therapy regimens, between then moving back in, again, wth my previous roommate and still good friend, David, and between giving free IT lessons to my other brother and others, online and in person, tech meetings, and other meetings, and setting up for schooling via a grant programme to learn and then work in the IT field for a computer company. But, I need to write... it is in my blood, if you will. It is a part of who I am, not just what I do. So, time??? I have to make time cus I have to make time to be me. And despite being tired, writing while tired, not just while more awake is very worth it cus I get to be me and get to express. Writing does this for me, and does this for me, well. I am sure that some of you can relate to this, as well. So, the next time you are feeling stressed, thinking to yourself, "Where do I find the time [to write]?" remember what writing means to you, and that if it means a lot to you, that then making the time to write could work, well, and could be worth it. Then, make the time to write. Write, away, my fellow writers!
